Dentin hypersensitivity or sensitive teeth is one of the most disturbing diseases caused by opening dentinal tubules which can transmit fluid to pulp nerves tooth, so that patient feel a short and sharp pain when exposed triggering agents. This cause physical psychological problems for patient. In addition, it have negative impact on person's quality life, especially regarding food selection, plaque control methods, aesthetic aspects. One treatments dentine using materials contain desensitizing effect, such as stannous, strontium, potassium, arginine, oxalate, hydroxyapatite. These ingredients be contained in toothpaste, serum, mouthwash dental office materials. Robusta green beans known fluoride oxalic acid. Fluoride needed prevent repair porous teeth, cavities hypersensitive teeth. While acid material has used treat hypersensitivity. However, content bean not been studied further determine its desensitization potential. review article will discuss possible potential bean.
